Stop and change nothing
Stop when you notice suspicious ammunition, wire, damaged objects, warning signs or a closed area. Do not touch, kick, move or cover anything. Calmly stop others without approaching again.
Retrace the known route
Move slowly back along the exact route already used if it was known safe. Do not circle around, seek a better photo or step onto uncertain margins. Respect official markings and barriers.
Report from safety
From a safe place, record the location, approach route, surroundings and time. Inform police, fire service or the designated local authority and follow instructions. Photograph only if explicitly requested and possible without approaching.
